Are you a proactive, development-oriented IT professional looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing company? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
RAN Group is one of the leading accounting and payroll services providers in the Nordics, operating in more than 100 locations across Sweden, Finland and Norway. We support businesses of all sizes with financial management, payroll, HR, and corporate taxation services. Our 2 700 highly skilled professionals help our 40 000 client companies drive their success.
We are now looking for an IT Manager to join our team and support our operations in Sweden!
This is a new position in our organization, where you will play a key role in managing our IT environment. You will be responsible for driving the development of our IT infrastructure, overseeing daily operations, and managing the services provided by our external IT partners to ensure high-quality and reliable delivery.
Another significant part of the position is taking care of IT integration activities related to company acquisitions. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth system migrations, harmonized environments, and secure data flows. Our Swedish head office is in Stockholm, and we hope you can primarily work from there. In addition, occasional travel is required, primarily within Sweden, to support local teams, coordinate integration tasks, and ensure consistent implementation across offices.
You will be part of our Group IT team and report to RAN Group Development Director, and functionally to our VP in Sweden. Additionally, you will collaborate with our local teams in Finland and Norway. This role in our rapidly growing company offers a combination of strategic planning and hands-on IT work. You will have the opportunity to shape our future IT landscape while also being closely involved in day-to-day execution. Your work will have a visible impact across the Swedish organization, and you will play an essential role in supporting and enabling the continuing growth.
Why join us?
We offer you an exciting and responsible role in one of the leading and rapidly growing Nordic organizations with opportunities for career growth and development. RAN Group is a forerunner in data-driven management and the digitalization of the accounting industry, offering you a truly motivating and forward-thinking environment to grow and make an impact.
You will receive strong internal support from your team and our highly skilled expert organization, as well as modern work tools. As a flexible employer, we give you the freedom to plan your work, benefit from flexible working hours, and work remotely to ensure a smooth balance between your professional and personal life.

What are we looking for?
We hope you bring to the table several years of hands-on experience in IT tasks, such as managing IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environments, end-user devices, networking, and cybersecurity operations, as well as at least a few years’ experience in a role where you have been responsible for large-scale projects and broader IT initiatives, for example IT integrations in M&A, infrastructure modernization projects, cloud migrations, or implementation of new company-wide systems.
We are looking for someone with a proactive and analytical mindset and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have the vision and capability to drive various projects to completion, and you are ready to work in a rapidly developing and constantly changing environment. Fluency in English and Swedish is required, while Finnish is considered an advantage. We hope you can primarily work from our office in Stockholm, with flexible remote work options.
